بیانیه همبستگی و دادخواهی هنرمندان مسیحی و فعالان فرهنگی

در محکومیت کشتار، شکنجه و سرکوب خشونت‌آمیز اعتراضات مردمی در ایران.)ژانویه ۲۰۲۶(

ما، جمعی از هنرمندان مسیحی و فعالان فرهنگی، در برابر یکی از تاریک‌ترین و خون‌بارترین فصل‌های تاریخ معاصر ایران، سکوت را خیانت به حقیقت، انسانیت و وجدان می‌دانیم. مردم غیرنظامی درایران که از 28 دسامبر 2025  در اعتراضات گسترده و مسالمت‌آمیز برای آزادی، کرامت انسانی، عدالت اجتماعی و پایان‌دادن به سرکوب و تبعیض ساختاری به خیابان‌ها آمدند، با خشونتی سازمان‌یافته، مرگبار و بی‌سابقه از سوی حاکمیت جمهوری اسلامی مواجه شدند.

ما همبستگی کامل خود را با انقلاب ملی مردم ایران اعلام می‌کنیم و این بیانیه را به‌عنوان سندی صریح برای دادخواهی اخلاقی، فرهنگی و انسانی منتشر می‌نماییم. این موضع‌گیری نه از سر گرایش سیاسی، بلکه بر پایه ایمان مسیحی، اصول جهانی حقوق بشر و مسئولیت اخلاقی در برابر رنج انسان‌هاست.

بر اساس گزارش‌های منتشرشده از سوی منابع بین‌المللی معتبر، از جمله گزارش تفصیلی روزنامه The Sunday Times، در جریان سرکوب اعتراضات سراسری، دست‌کم بین شانزده هزار و پانصد تا هجده هزار معترض غیرنظامی جان خود را از دست داده‌اند و بین سیصد و سی هزار تا سیصد و شصت هزار نفر دیگر زخمی شده‌اند. این روزنامه این سرکوب را «وحشیانه‌ترین سرکوب رژیم ملایان در ۴۷ سال حیاتش» توصیف کرده و به نقل از پزشکان داخل ایران گزارش داده است که بخش قابل توجهی از این تلفات تنها در دو روز رخ داده است.

بر اساس همین گزارش‌ها، اکثریت قربانیان کمتر از سی سال سن داشته‌اند و زنان باردار و کودکان نیز در میان کشته‌شدگان و مجروحان دیده می‌شوند. افزون بر این، به نقل از پزشکان داخل ایران، احتمال می‌رود بیش از هشت هزار معترض در اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای حکومتی بینایی خود را از دست داده باشند؛ آماری تکان‌دهنده که نشان‌دهنده هدف‌گیری عامدانه انسان‌هاست.

سازمان Amnesty International  نیز در هشدار رسمی خود اعلام کرده است که مقام‌های جمهوری اسلامی برای مقابله با اعتراضات مردمی، دست به سرکوبی مرگبار، سیستماتیک و بی‌سابقه زده‌اند. استفاده از گلوله جنگی علیه معترضان غیرمسلح، بازداشت‌های گسترده، شکنجه، ناپدیدسازی قهری، تهدید خانواده‌ها و اعمال فشارهای روانی شدید، همگی بخشی از این ماشین سرکوب بوده‌اند.

قطع سراسری و عامدانه اینترنت و ارتباطات، نه یک اقدام فنی، بلکه ابزاری سازمان‌یافته برای پنهان‌سازی جنایت‌ها، جلوگیری از ثبت حقیقت و فروبردن جامعه در «تاریکی دیجیتال» بوده است. ده‌ها هزار خانواده در داخل و خارج از ایران، روزها و هفته‌ها از سرنوشت عزیزان خود بی‌خبر مانده‌اند و نمی‌دانند آنان زنده‌اند یا در گورهای بی‌نام دفن شده‌اند. یکی از پزشکان داخل ایران این وضعیت را «نسل‌کشی در سایه تاریکی دیجیتال» توصیف کرده است؛ تعبیری که عمق فاجعه را به‌روشنی نشان می‌دهد.

از منظر حقوق بین‌الملل، این اقدامات مصداق روشن نقض سیستماتیک حقوق بنیادین بشر است؛ از جمله حق حیات، حق آزادی بیان و تجمع مسالمت‌آمیز، حق کرامت انسانی و حق امنیت شخصی. این الگوی خشونت سازمان‌یافته علیه جمعیت غیرنظامی، واجد عناصر جنایت علیه بشریت است و نمی‌توان آن را با هیچ توجیه سیاسی، ایدئولوژیک یا امنیتی مشروع جلوه داد.

از منظر ایمان مسیحی، هر انسان حامل تصویر خداست و تعرض به جان، بدن و کرامت او، تعرض به ارزش‌های بنیادی الهی و انسانی است. هنرمندان و فعالان فرهنگی، اگر در برابر چنین بی‌عدالتی آشکاری خاموش بمانند، رسالت خود را انکار کرده‌اند.

ما صراحتاً اعلام می‌کنیم که مسئولیت مستقیم این کشتار، شکنجه و سرکوب خشونت‌آمیز، بر عهده حاکمیت جمهوری اسلامی ایران است. ما از جامعه جهانی، نهادهای حقوق بشری، کلیساها، موسسات فرهنگی و هنری، جشنواره‌ها، دانشگاه‌ها و هنرمندان در سراسر جهان می‌خواهیم که:

• این جنایت‌ها را به‌طور علنی و بی‌ابهام محکوم کنند؛

• روابط خود با نهادها و نمایندگی‌های رسمی جمهوری اسلامی را متوقف کنند؛

• از دادخواهی مردم ایران برای آزادی، کرامت انسانی و حقوق سلب‌ناشدنی بشر حمایت عملی و مستمر به‌عمل آورند؛

• و اجازه ندهند که عادی‌سازی روابط فرهنگی و هنری، به پوششی برای پنهان‌سازی جنایت علیه انسان‌ها بدل شود.

ما در همبستگی کامل با مردم ایران، با خانواده‌های جان‌باختگان، زندانیان، مجروحان و همه کسانی که صدایشان با گلوله، زندان، شکنجه و سانسور خاموش شده است، می‌ایستیم. این بیانیه دعوتی است به شکستن سکوت و ایستادن در کنار حقیقت.

گزارش‌ها حاکی از آن است که با گذشت هر روز، شمار بیشتری از افراد بازداشت می‌شوند، تحت شکنجه قرار می‌گیرند و اعدام می‌شوند و سکوت در چنین شرایطی، شکلی از همدستی با خشونت است.

تاریخ بارها نشان داده است که بی‌عدالتی، نه با خشونت عاملانش، بلکه با سکوت ناظرانش تداوم می‌یابد. ما سکوت نخواهیم کرد.

Statement of Solidarity and Justice by Christian Artists and Cultural Activists

Condemning the Killing, Torture, and Violent Suppression of Popular Protests in IranJanuary 2026

We, a collective of Christian artists and cultural activists, regard silence in the face of one of the darkest and bloodiest chapters in Iran’s contemporary history as a betrayal of truth, humanity, and conscience. Beginning on December 28, 2025, civilians in Iran who took to the streets in widespread and largely peaceful protests demanding freedom, human dignity, social justice, and an end to systemic repression and discrimination were met with an organized, lethal, and unprecedented campaign of violence by the ruling authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

We declare our full solidarity with the National Revolution of the Iranian people and issue this statement as a clear and uncompromising document of moral, cultural, and human justice-seeking. This position is not rooted in partisan political alignment, but in Christian faith, universal principles of human rights, and our ethical responsibility in the face of human suffering.

According to reports published by credible international sources, including a detailed investigation by The Sunday Times, during the suppression of nationwide protests at least 16,500 to 18,000 civilian demonstrators were killed, and between 330,000 and 360,000 others were injured. The newspaper described this crackdown as “the most brutal repression by the clerical regime in its 47-year history,” reporting, based on testimony from physicians inside Iran, that a significant portion of these casualties occurred within just two days.

These same reports indicate that the majority of victims were under the age of thirty, and that pregnant women and children are among both the dead and the injured. Furthermore, according to Iranian medical sources, it is estimated that more than 8,000 protesters may have lost their eyesight as a result of direct gunfire by state forces. This shocking figure points to the deliberate targeting of human beings.

Amnesty International has likewise warned in its official statements that Iranian authorities have engaged in an unprecedented, systematic, and deadly campaign of repression against popular protests. The use of live ammunition against unarmed civilians, mass arrests, torture, enforced disappearances, threats against families, and severe psychological pressure have all constituted integral components of this machinery of repression.

The deliberate and nationwide shutdown of the internet and communications was not a technical measure, but a calculated and organized tool to conceal crimes, prevent the documentation of truth, and plunge society into what has been described as “digital darkness.” Tens of thousands of families inside and outside Iran were left for days and weeks without any information about the fate of their loved ones, uncertain whether they were alive or buried in unmarked graves. One physician inside Iran described this situation as “genocide in the shadow of digital darkness,” a phrase that starkly captures the depth of the catastrophe.

From the perspective of international law, these actions constitute clear instances of systematic violations of fundamental human rights, including the right to life, freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, human dignity, and personal security. This pattern of organized violence against a civilian population contains the defining elements of crimes against humanity and cannot be justified by any political, ideological, or security rationale.

From a Christian perspective, every human being bears the image of God, and any assault on human life, body, or dignity is an assault on foundational divine and human values. Artists and cultural activists who remain silent in the face of such blatant injustice deny their own calling.

We state unequivocally that direct responsibility for this killing, torture, and violent repression lies with the ruling authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. We call upon the international community, human rights institutions, churches, cultural and artistic organizations, festivals, universities, and artists worldwide to:

·        Publicly and unequivocally condemn these crimes;

·        Suspend all relations with official institutions and representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran;

·        Provide sustained and practical support for the Iranian people’s pursuit of freedom, human dignity, and inalienable human rights;

·        And refuse to allow the normalization of cultural and artistic relations to serve as a cover for crimes against humanity.

We stand in full solidarity with the people of Iran, with the families of those killed, with prisoners, the wounded, and all those whose voices have been silenced by bullets, prisons, torture, and censorship. This statement is a call to break the silence and to stand on the side of truth.

Reports indicate that with each passing day, increasing numbers of individuals are being arrested, subjected to torture, and executed, and that silence under such circumstances constitutes a form of complicity with violence.

History has repeatedly shown that injustice persists not only through the violence of its perpetrators, but through the silence of its observers. We will not remain silent.
